What the website can do

The sections below summarize the main capabilities currently available across the platform.

Accounts and access

  • Create an account with guest access immediately.
  • Request volunteer or teacher access during registration, with admin approval required before the role becomes active.
  • Log in, log out, reset passwords, and verify email addresses.
  • Edit your profile details, photo, bio, and contact information.
  • Submit a separate role-change request later from your profile when you want to switch roles.

Courses and curriculum

  • Browse published courses from the homepage and filter them by age group and language.
  • Open detailed course pages with session structure, topics, and linked activities.
  • Create new course submissions and edit draft courses before moderation.
  • Build course sessions topic by topic, with games limited to the selected topic only.
  • Review courses in a dedicated moderation flow before they are approved.

Games Studio

  • Browse the complete game library in a dedicated Games Studio page.
  • Filter games by difficulty, topic, and search terms.
  • Open full game details in a modal without leaving the page.
  • Edit games directly from the library if you have staff access.

Pronunciation Studio

  • Browse vocabulary and phrase entries in the pronunciation library.
  • Filter by type, audio status, language, part of speech, topic, and search text.
  • Spot missing audio more quickly with dedicated filters.

Materials Library

  • Browse printable material sets in the Materials Library.
  • Filter materials by topic and search them by title, language, or topic.
  • Open and download material files directly from the page.

Volunteer and teacher workflows

  • Volunteers can see their classrooms and recent class evaluations.
  • Teachers can view the classrooms and schools linked to their profile.
  • Create class evaluations for classroom topics after sessions.
  • See the full team context around evaluations, including linked volunteers and teacher information where relevant.
