Sessions
Open a session to explore its learning objectives and the games connected to it.
Session 1 - Colours
Hear a colour and react to it at speed: point at it, grab it or run to it, then name it. Played out in Flag Game, Bulldog and Run to the Colours.
Session 2 - Numbers
React to a called number: grab that many cones, form a group that size, or run to that marker — then say the number back. Played out in Passing Game, Group Forming Game and Number relay.
Session 3 - Body parts
Put a hand on the body part that is called, at speed, and take a turn calling parts out for the others. Played out in “Cones and Body Parts”, “Hands on the Ground” and “Body Parts Relay”.
Session 4 - Action verbs
Turn a spoken verb into movement within a second — and give the instruction as well as follow it. Played out in “Eau, Feu, Verbes d'Action” and “The Shopping List Relay”.
Session 5 - Alphabet
Hear a letter and find, form or run to it; spell short words aloud while moving. Played out in Form Letters and Order the Alphabet.
Session 6 - Animals
Move and sound like the animal that is called, and name the animal the others are imitating. Played out in Walk like an animal and Animal Parkour.
Session 7 - Presentation
Step into the circle, present yourself to the group, and field a question from another learner. Played out in Presentation circle, Flying presentation and Presentation relay.
Session 8 - Assessment
Show what stuck: react to calls from any earlier session and produce the words unprompted. Played out in Competition, Group-forming with colours and Flying presentation.
