01 Who we are
LangoMove is a language-learning platform operated by Planet Citizens (planetcitizens.fr) for use by volunteer language tutors and teachers in primary and secondary schools. The platform is not directed at children under 13; only adults (volunteers and teaching staff) hold LangoMove accounts.
02 What we collect
- Account data: email, name, role (guest / teacher / volunteer / admin), city, country, optional bio and phone.
- Profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
- Operational data tied to your role: classroom assignments, session evaluations you submit, courses you create.
- Technical logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and debugging.
- Authentication tokens stored on your device, used to keep you signed in.
We do not collect data about children participating in the classes — only volunteers and teachers running them.
03 How we use it
- Match volunteers to classrooms and route session evaluations to the right teachers.
- Send transactional emails: account activation, password reset, evaluation reminders.
- Improve and maintain the platform.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not run advertising on LangoMove.
04 Email transport
Transactional emails are sent through Brevo (sendinblue.com). Brevo processes only the email address, name, and message contents required to deliver the message.
05 Retention
Account data is kept while the account is active. When you delete your account from the mobile app or web profile, your account and personal data are permanently removed. Evaluations you submitted may be retained in aggregate form for reporting to schools, with your name removed.
06 Your rights (GDPR)
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Use the profile screen in the mobile app or web dashboard, or contact us at the address below.
