LangoMove is operated by Planet Citizens. We take the protection of your personal data seriously. In line with Article 13 of the GDPR, this policy explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it. The platform is used by adult volunteer tutors and teachers; it is not directed at children under 13.

02 Data we collect and why
We only collect personal data for specific, legitimate purposes:

Optional data (profile personalisation) relies on your consent: filling it in constitutes consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by removing it from your profile. We do not sell your data and we run no advertising. LangoMove collects no data about the children in the classes - only the volunteers and teachers running them.
03 Retention
- Account data: kept while the account is active; deleted when you delete your account.
- Evaluations and sessions: retained in anonymised form (without your name) for history and reporting to schools.
- Technical logs (IP address, timestamps): 6 months.
- Optional profile data: deleted as soon as you remove it.
04 Cookies and trackers
The site uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie (to keep you signed in), an anti-CSRF token (form security), and your language preference.
No analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies are set. Because these technical cookies are exempt from consent, no consent banner is required. You can block them in your browser settings, though this may break parts of the site.
05 Sub-processors
To operate, the site relies on third-party providers, governed under Article 28 of the GDPR:
- Hosting provider: IONOS SARL (7, place de la Gare, 57200 Sarreguemines, France) - site and database hosting.
- Brevo (sendinblue.com): transactional email delivery (processes the email address, name, and message content).
06 Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, erase, object to, restrict, and port your data. You can exercise these from your profile or by contacting contact@planetcitizens.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
